Texas Holdem is offered at VirginPocker.com obviously, and is by far the most popular game anywhere online. Omaha in it’s high format is also available, being much the same as Holdem in the way the game is played, only players start with four hole cards instead of two. Only two of these four hole cards can be used to make your hand in Omaha, and you should be aware that stronger hands will often pick up the pot. Getting started at Doylesroom.com firstly involves downloading, this doesn’t take too long and you should be playing poker in no time. As far as depositing goes, Doyles Rooom is safe and easy to use too.
Players making their first deposit will receive a minimum of 25% bonus up to $100, which isn’t the largest bonus around but it is reasonable enough to help a new player get started.
This fee is released in one payment which is helpful too, and there are bonus tournaments onsite especially aimed at players who are new to the site.
Other tournaments include a daily $40,000 gauranteed tournament, and a massive $175,000 monthly tournament along with bad beat jackpot SNGs to keep every player happy, both new and old.
The lobby at Doyles Room is especially easy to use and find your way around for new players, and if Texas Holdem is your game of choice then there will always be a game to be had. Other games do not have quite the same traffic flow which is unfortunate, but hopefully this will improve as the site continues to grow.
New players onsite will also find a functional points system in place which gives the option to exchange points for mechandise or buy in to tournaments. If you happen to be from another country and English is not your first language, then do not be worried about joining Doyles Room as there is the option to change language settngs if you so choose.
There are some aspects of Doyles Room which I feel could be improved if I am being honest. An increase of player traffic in time would be helpful too, but overall it offers a perfectly reasonable site for new players to join and play poker on.

Customer support is reputed to be very helpful and competent and www.celebpocker.com has it’s own areas designed solely to help new players improve their game, with tutorials and other tools to help the beginner.
The first time deposit bonus at celebpocker.com is reported to be at 200% up to an amount of $500 which is extremely competitive.
The graphics used on celeb pocker are very crisp and look good, as does the software.
Transactions onsite are smooth and without problems, and there is a decent level of player traffic beginning to flow through too. One point to note is that celeb pocker does not accept U.S players unfortunately due to the change in U.S law, but there aren’t any other major problems with the site other than this I feel.
In terms of online pocker tournaments there are many large ongoing Freerolls and also gaurantee tournaments available, also www.celebpocker.com has a good rakeback scheme which sends the accrued extra money straight into the players account.
There is no point accumulation, or VIP system in place on www.celebpocker.com which is perhaps another small point which could be worked on further. But on the whole these minor points, are easily outweighed by the easy to use toolbars, good atmosphere, and the other previously mentioned plus points.
All sites have their small flaws but they don’t really take anything away from the online poker playing experience offered at celebpocker.com.

Epassporte Poker Sites are not that common. Not to talk about the current on line poker ban in the US too much but it’s even harder to find a Epassporte Poker Site that takes US players.

Pokerstars .com have had the balles to stay in the US market to service its ever increasing number of players.
Thank goodness someone as taken a stand and made it easy for players in the US to play poker on line.
Not only is www.pokerstars.com good in respect of looking after US players but they are also one of the best poker sites on line.
The software is great, the player numbers in the rooms are really good and if you are a shark then there are plenty of fish to go around.
Epassporte is not the easiest way to fund a poker account but you sometimes just have to role with the punches and bit the bullet and pay the fees.
The fees are not too bad but that is what you have to do if you want to use this payment method for on line poker.
