I must say that www.pacificpocker.com has an excellent section on it’s home page relating to how to download and register, and then start playing on it’s site, and in many ways I expected this.

It is quite common for poker sites which are branches of a bigger operation run by a betting company to perhaps not receive absolute attention and not become amongst the finest sites to play on. More recently though I have to confess that I am seeing this less often.
Pacific poker is a prime example of these type of poker sites being run in a very professinal way, and with a manner that shows real attention to detail. The example I gave to begin with about the guide to getting started on their site is just an example of course, but it is all symptomatic of the same thing.
I personally feel that with so many other companies pouring all their efforts into solely creating top standard poker rooms, perhaps the larger betting companies have thought ‘we need to make our poker rooms first class to compete’.
If that was the case then they are right, and I am pleased to see improvements being made in many aspects of online poker, and that is industry wide, not just in the case of Pacific Poker. Their sponsorship of Shane Warne has I am sure, helped them too.
He is a well known character and sporting figure, and that fact that he had great success in the WSOP is excellent for 888.com’s Pacific Poker. This is a very good site overall I feel, and it will probably only get better as long as they continue to work hard at furthering themselves.
